_____________
You may be in a situation where your child is not getting enough court time at club tournaments or on the school team. The reason is likely that their skill performance tends to generate poor or inconsistent results. Inconsistent results lead to shaky confidence which, again, negatively impacts on performace.

For information on Hot Shots Volleyball Training available through TUTORING, go to the tutoring page. All levels are encouraged to consider tutoring. Whatever the skill issue is: serving, passing, floor defense (digging), spiking, blocking or setting/volleying, tutoring can make a big difference in a short period of time due as the full focus is on the problem skill(s) that are impacting performance.

Depending upon the school, there could be 35 to 60 kids at junior tryouts. Players with some skills tend to stand out in the crowd and have a better chance making the team

Individualized Training

Tutoring – Is private instruction for those players who want to get started or have found that they are having some difficulty performing consistently well enough get court time at tournaments. Making a technical change in a skill requires instruction and lots of focussed repetitions until the skill is remediated and performace improves. The parents and athletes decide which area(s) of their game needs improving and a course of action is developed. I have the ability and experience to improve beginners as well as top players as evidenced by the number of former players who have won full rider scholarships to the U.S. and players who have played for both mens' and womens' National Teams.
